1. Definitions

In this Agreement:

• "Agreement" means these Terms & Conditions together with any enrolment confirmation.
• "We / Us / Our" means Rentak Silika, operating from 88 Jalan Wong Ah Fook, 80000 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia.
• "You / User" means any individual who accesses our website or enrols in a programme.
• "Programme" means any of our offered courses or assessment services: Applied Language Model Engineering, Computer Vision Module, or Technical Readiness Assessment.
• "Content" means materials, syllabuses, feedback, and written plans provided by us as part of a Programme.
• "Submission" means code, written work, or data you provide to us during a Programme.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or enrolling in a Programme, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

3. Service Description

Rentak Silika provides online educational programmes in AI development and a written technical readiness assessment service, primarily for working engineers in Malaysia and the surrounding region. Programmes are delivered in English. We reserve the right to limit availability of specific programmes based on capacity, cohort timing, or prerequisite requirements.

4. Enrolment and Accounts

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of payment. You are responsible for providing accurate contact and background information during enrolment. Programme access credentials (if applicable) are personal and must not be shared. We may suspend access if we believe credentials are being shared or misused.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Engage with programme material honestly and submit your own work for review.
• Not reproduce, distribute, or publicly share programme materials, syllabuses, or feedback without our written consent.
• Treat instructors and any other programme participants with professional courtesy.
• Not use our website or services in any unlawful manner or in a way that interferes with their operation.

6. Intellectual Property

All syllabuses, written feedback, programme materials, and website content are the intellectual property of Rentak Silika. You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use these materials for personal educational purposes only. You retain ownership of Submissions you create; by submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use them solely for providing feedback and improving our programmes.

7. Fees and Payment

Fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM):

• Applied Language Model Engineering: RM 660
• Computer Vision Module: RM 395
• Technical Readiness Assessment: RM 140

Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable once a programme has commenced or an assessment has been delivered. If a programme is cancelled by us before commencement, a full refund will be issued. Payment details are communicated following your enrolment enquiry.

Note: Where a programme requires GPU rental, this cost is separate from the programme fee and is the learner's responsibility. Indicative costs are stated in the programme specification.

8. Programme-Specific Terms

Applied Language Model Engineering (14 weeks): One live session per week on Tuesday evenings, Malaysian time. Absence from live sessions does not reduce the programme fee. The written design defence is a required final deliverable; failure to submit it within the programme period does not entitle a refund.

Computer Vision Module (9 weeks): The mid-module one-to-one review is scheduled by mutual agreement within weeks 4–5. If you are unable to schedule within this window, we will accommodate an alternative time within a two-week extension.

Technical Readiness Assessment: The written study plan will be delivered within seven calendar days of receiving your completed background submission. The plan is advisory; we make no representation that following it will result in readiness for any specific programme.

9. Disclaimers

Our Programmes and assessments are provided in good faith based on the information you supply and the expertise of our instructors. We do not represent that completion of a Programme will result in employment, a specific technical outcome, or readiness for any external certification or role. Content is provided as-is, reflecting the state of the field at the time of delivery. AI tooling evolves rapidly; we update programme content between cohorts but cannot guarantee currency within a cohort.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability to you under or in connection with this Agreement shall not exceed the fee you paid for the relevant Programme. We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of earnings, data, or business opportunity. We are not responsible for costs arising from third-party services used during a Programme, including GPU rental costs.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Rentak Silika harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of this Agreement, misuse of programme materials, or violation of any applicable law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to a Programme if you breach these Terms. In such cases no refund will be issued. You may withdraw from a Programme before commencement and receive a refund, less any administrative costs incurred. After commencement, no refund is available. These Terms survive termination to the extent required for their intent.

13. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, we ask that you first contact us at [email protected] to attempt informal resolution. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to mediation before any legal action is taken. This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Johor Bahru shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

14. General Provisions

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Rentak Silika in relation to its subject matter. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that right. We may assign our rights and obligations under this Agreement; you may not do so without our consent. 15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted at this URL with a revised Last Updated date. If you are enrolled in a Programme, material changes will be communicated by email to the address you provided. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
