What background do I need for the language model engineering programme?
Working Python and some backend experience are the stated prerequisites. You should be comfortable writing functions, handling data structures, and running code in a terminal environment. Mathematics at A-level or equivalent is helpful but not a hard requirement for the language model programme specifically. Do I need to buy a GPU for the computer vision module?
No purchase is required. The module uses roughly ten hours of rented GPU time across its nine weeks. The indicative hourly cost for a suitable rental instance is stated in the module specification before you enrol, so you can budget for it. Day-to-day work including data preparation and model design runs on a standard laptop.
How long does the readiness assessment take?
The written study plan is delivered within one week of your submission. You provide a summary of your Python experience, relevant mathematics, and engineering background, and the assessment produces a structured plan naming what to address first. There is no live interview required.
What if the assessment says I am not ready for any programme?
The plan will say so plainly and name specific free public resources worth working through first. The study plan is yours to use at any school — there is no expectation that you return to enrol here. We consider this an honest outcome of the assessment process.
Are the programmes conducted in English?
Yes. All written materials, live sessions, and feedback are in English. This reflects the technical literature in the field, which is predominantly English-language. Learners in Malaysia and across the region have found this workable.
What are the fees and how is payment handled?
Fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit: RM 660 for Applied Language Model Engineering, RM 395 for the Computer Vision Module, and RM 140 for the Technical Readiness Assessment. Payment details and scheduling are confirmed after your enquiry. The fee covers the programme duration including all written feedback and the one-to-one review where applicable.
